Faith and Facts: Who is Jesus & what the Bible has to say about Him

This is a place where as Christians we can grow as we explore our faith from a biblical perspective. This is also a place where atheists, skeptics & people of other faiths can come so that we can examine if the claims of the Bible & the claims that Jesus made about Himself are true...or if you're just seeking, read & enjoy. You'll likely find articles related to theological & apologetics issues, devotionals, Bible studies & just my random thoughts. All are welcome.

Cool Quotes

"If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning."
-C.S Lewis

Monthly Scripture

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (NASB)
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Puritan Prayers

"Valley of Vision"
Lord, high and holy, meek and lowly, Thou hast brought me to the valley of vision, where I live in the depths but see Thee in the heights; hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold Thy glory. Let me learn by paradox that the way down is the way up, that to be low is to be high, that the broken heart is the healed heart, that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit, that the repenting soul is the victorious soul, that to have nothing is to possess all, that to bear the cross is to wear the crown, that to give is to receive, that the valley is the place of vision. Lord, in the daytime stars can be seen from deepest wells, and the deeper the wells the brighter Thy stars shine; let me find Thy light in my darkness, Thy life in my death, Thy joy in my sorrow, Thy grace in my sin, Thy riches in my poverty, Thy glory in my valley.
